What is religion?
“A religion is any systematic approach to living that involves beliefs about ones origins, ones place in the world, or a responsibility to live and act in the world in particular ways.” -wiki
Why do some of us cling so dearly to our religion?
Who is your God?
I define religion as safety blanket for humans. A pacifier keeping us in place like a child, and loving us even though we’re broken. I define it as a safe place where we can let our souls out and not be afraid to be judged. It’s what keep many people “good” and helps us cope with death.
How do we know what happens after we die?
Have you realized that many if not all religions are centered around death?
You slave your whole life trying to live by the rules of your religion in hopes that when you die you’d end up in a better place that your are now.
Religion is like a big set up where 90% of us are involved and we try our best not to stray from the flock. If we stray from the flock will we burn in some ungodly place?
How do you know which religion is real?
We’re all egotistical when it comes to our own religion because we claim that this one is the one and everyone else is wrong. How do you know? Have your heard that voice from the sky? Have you seen the higher power in which you pray to?
No, You haven’t. If it was a dream then that doesn’t count, we dream about things that we desire and can’t have. How can you be sure that this God will save you? What is it about the words written on thin white paper that makes you comply?
Why did you choose your religion?
Is it because you were raised that way? Or did you want it? Do you believe in that higher power with ever fiber of your being that you’d die for it?

In the end, we’ll always have a speck of concern. We’ll never know, because no one has come back from the death to tell us what happens.
Do we stop existing completely once we die? I don’t know but you can never be too certain when it comes to religion.
