“I need do nothing”

It is mentioned by many Spiritual people and in many religious places also and the whole idea of doing nothing, sounds like just laying around or belly button gazing as some would call it; however, doing nothing does not truly mean that the body is left on a bed somewhere motionless all day, although that is an option.

What is truly meant by doing nothing is simply resting in the inner peace, which is constant and allowing the natural flow of life to continue while we rest in this inner place of Security, Comfort and Infinite Peace. This is a state that can be easily achieved, once we recognize our true purpose in this experience.
In order to recognize that though, we must firstly release what we think it is or for some, what we know it is. True knowledge needs no defense and cannot be swayed, for certainty is solid and contains no questions that would corrupt it’s integrity.
Seeing that we are in this world and it “is not“, without us, we can begin to bless it by extending our light to it and seeing all we meet or think of as the light. We come closer to knowing that it is only ourselves that we can bless, and then we know ourselves as the Light of the World.
We are then aligned with the Christ consciousness and clear perception of the Real world follows. The rest is up to God. Once our fear of Union is released, the Living Spirit can take us to knowledge and the World is no more.
We are in a state of perfect peace regardless of what would seem to be favorable or unfavourable situations. this is the Peace that passeth all understanding, and each one has achieved it when one has.
Eternal Love and Infinite Peace,
Gabriel Quincy Collymore

I like how you reffer to it … “resting in inner peace”.
Nice share.
Beautifully shared well focused
Inner peace is beautiful.
inner peace can be attained even during hectic activity. Gabriel, I feel it’s more a state of mind…a mental character one builds…and has less to do with one’s physical state…resting or otherwise. very nice share. i love it. tx.
Inner peace is something craved by all but few realize that is what they are looking for.
Gabriel, I’m confused. We bless our world by “extending ourselves to it and by seeing all we meet … as light.” I get that.
Then,
“We come closer to knowing that it is only ourselves that we can bless,” – this seems a contradiction. Do we bless the world so as to bless ourselves?
“We are then aligned with the Christ conciousness.” It weems to me we align with the Christ conciousness by becomming more and more Christ-like, in which self-centeredness has no place.
This is beautiful writing; almost melodic. I picture you as a serene person by the way you express yourself. God bless.
