When the idea of your faith being wrong is introduced then what can you do?
When the idea of your faith being wrong is introduced then what can you do?
Chapter Two of my soon to be Novel call the Teacher.
The inspiration and influence our words can have on ourselves, others, and the world can and should be a positive impact to change and make a difference in our lives. As we surround ourselves around people who are of influence, authority, and prestige I am reminded that if they can accomplish their goals and purpose in life, then so can I.
When was the last time you took the time to pour your wealth of knowledge into someone else’s spirit? Feasting on the Word of God or your higher education and becoming overweight to the degree of gluttony is unacceptable with being a child of God. Are you actively serving in some capacity of ministry?
Persistent prayer produce results that shows actions behind our faith. At a time when all else fails and you know deep down in your spirit change is necessary, don’t stop believing for change to come. Change may not come when you and I want it to, but in God’s timing a change is on the way.
We live in a body that wants to sin; but if we walk and talk in the Spirit deliberate acts of iniquities would be minimum. Not compromising and yielding to the lust of the flesh and walking in spirit is a good witness that when others see you they may be put to shame because you choose not to be influenced by their ungodly and worldly lifestyle.
Surrendering my life to God is always the right thing to do, and it sounds easy enough, but there are times when I would love to have a hand in writing the script.
God is not involved in any sins we commit. He sees and knows about them, but He is not participating in any of them. He allows sin to happen in our lives because hopefully sooner than later we will open our hearts and eyes to want to change and be cleansed from all unrighteousness.
Two different individuals, different personalities, both preaching and teaching the same truths. Yet, their knowledge and wisdom of salvation was still rejected by an evil generation. John the Baptist was a man who proclaimed the truth of God’s word with a message of repentance, and his responsibility was to prepare the people for the coming Messiah Jesus Christ.
As we spend time in the presence of the Lord exercising and expressing our faith in Him; our actions behind our faith should produce an obedient spirit within us to want to serve him gracefully.
