On Pre-big Bang Cosmological Determinism of Free Will

icon1 Published by Gary C Gibson in Religion on December 30, 2009 | 1 Comment

Determinists lean toward the support of authoritarianism because of the negation of the meaning of freedom. Empirical knowledge of scientific material relations are offered for the idea of existential determinism of all things including thought. This essay takes the opposite opinion; that thought is implicitly liberated from physical determinism through self-aware choices from myriad paths. This freedom was pre-determined from the beginning by the initial boundary conditions selected by The One.

Why We Left Paradise

icon1 Published by Gerald Drueppel in Religion on April 11, 2009 | No Comments

This is not open for debate, at least with me. It is my own personal belief. To me it makes more sense than Original Sin. For God does not curse his creation or punish those that know not right from wrong. We chose to engage The Adversary by choice that was the first choice so that we may have the chance to grow in spirit and one day return to paradise to be able to appreciate the miracle of creation to the fullest.

Why Did God Put a Forbidden Tree in Eden?

Why would God put one thing in Eden and then tell us not to touch it??? Here are some reasons why.

Free Will

icon1 Published by DK West in Christianity on October 25, 2008 | No Comments

Everyone knows how deeply they can impact the world and how this impact can be a benefit or a detriment to the lives of others. Being responsible and holding those who commit evil acts accountable for their deeds and not looking out to someone else to fix things which we are unwilling to make an attempt to repair.

The Paradox of Free Will
