No “OMG” for Me

I still believe that God expects His people to revere His name, and we are extremely arrogant to think that we may use it as a byword.

Are You Serving or Storing Up for Yourself?

When was the last time you took the time to pour your wealth of knowledge into someone else’s spirit? Feasting on the Word of God or your higher education and becoming overweight to the degree of gluttony is unacceptable with being a child of God. Are you actively serving in some capacity of ministry?

Persistent Faith

Persistent prayer produce results that shows actions behind our faith. At a time when all else fails and you know deep down in your spirit change is necessary, don’t stop believing for change to come. Change may not come when you and I want it to, but in God’s timing a change is on the way.

Worldliness is Not Worth The Trouble

We live in a body that wants to sin; but if we walk and talk in the Spirit deliberate acts of iniquities would be minimum. Not compromising and yielding to the lust of the flesh and walking in spirit is a good witness that when others see you they may be put to shame because you choose not to be influenced by their ungodly and worldly lifestyle.

Sin Is a Choice

God is not involved in any sins we commit. He sees and knows about them, but He is not participating in any of them. He allows sin to happen in our lives because hopefully sooner than later we will open our hearts and eyes to want to change and be cleansed from all unrighteousness.

Do The Power Walk

“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, YHWH appeared to Abram, and said unto him, ‘I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect’” (Genesis 17:1). YHWH as Christ told His hearers (Matthew 5:48), which includes today’s true disciples, “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” This is a tough target to hit, but because YHWH came in the flesh to redeem us, provided He dwells in us and we in Him, there is power to follow through.

Faith of a Child

As we spend time in the presence of the Lord exercising and expressing our faith in Him; our actions behind our faith should produce an obedient spirit within us to want to serve him gracefully.

Something in Common

After a brief stop working at the Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections some time ago, I noticed we all have something in common. We are all God’s children in spite of the circumstances or sins we grievously commit. God’s arms are stretched and opened wide to all who will have a repentant heart and a change of mind; to turn to Him by faith.

Have You Figured It Out Yet?

To accomplish any mission in life takes a certain amount of belief to achieve the dream that is set before us. The combination of faith along with being obedient, produces the works He desires in us; to do His will.
