As the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, the hustle and bustle of Muslims in Indonesia to the attention of the world community.

One is at the determination of one Syawal 1432 H, in which the Indonesian government set a date of August 31, 2011 as the feast of Eid al-Fitr while countries – Arab countries set one Syawal falls on 30 August.

The difference is due to differences in methods of determining the method Hisab Rukyat month. Reckoning is a calculation method of determining the Hijri calendar while Rukyat is the classic method is performed by looking at the Hilal or the appearance of the crescent after sunset at the end of the month of ramadan.
