I have heard this statement a few times "it"s not about you’ or "it"s not about me’. Well if it’s not about you (or me) then what’s it about then? I attempt to elaborate on these statements and offer my own opinion in the matter.
A Triond author posed this question some time ago. He pointed to two Scripture references to make this point.
Judas Iscariot was he really the evil betrayer of Christ or just a misguided puppet of Christ? A man whose very act began a series of events that began a movement so powerful that it has become the predominant religion of the world.
Who actually did kill Jesus? Pilate? Roman’s soldiers? Herod? Caiaphas? You and me?
Its about the s0-called the end of the world.
