Journeys, we all take them. And at some point they all come to an end. Reflecting on a recent journey makes me think all the more about my destination.

I was asked once to describe my life-long faith journey for a church project. I thought about this for a while, and finally decided a ship might best represent many of us Christians and our relationship with God.

If you are thinking that I am going to give some trite work dealing with how foolish human beings are, and how they are unworthy of The Kingdom of Heaven, save they worship this or that “deity”, you will be disappointed. What you are going to get is a simple work comparing why The Fool card is the first card in The Tarot to a line from Christian philosophy.
Little things I believe matter a lot to God. Learn to be thankful always.

Difficulties in life are sure to come, and it is quite normal for many to wonder why any of us should be beset with numerous problems. However, the quest of the Magi for the King of Jews shows us there is great reward in earnestly seeking the Answer, the only Answer that can satisfy our spiritual hunger.
