The Bible says to love our Brother, our Sister, our Father, our Mother-but also our Neighbour and even our Enemy. I think probably it says somewhere to love ourselves as well. I think very important is that we need to think of others as actually living out each second of their lives even as we live out each second of ours. I think that almost every major spiritual path and religion in the end does teach love and this is based in recognizing that others are beings to love.
The character of a loving mother.
Christians would have us believe that God is all merciful and all loving. This confuses me. I’m pretty sure that Mom is more merciful than God.
How is our devotion & love for our beloved God?
Its a question we all wonder about, are we going to heaven. Am I worthy we all ask?
Godly motherhood takes character and direction from God. That is especially needed in these days when Christ’s prophecy that iniquity would abound is coming to pass. For some insight into this, there is Hannah, mother of Samuel (1 Samuel 1:1 to 2:21).
Trouble at home or work, loss of work, a debilitating or disabling illness, or other problems often leave some with the feeling of worthlessness. Then, there are times people simply feel that way. However, when we turn to the Word of God and let the Holy Spirit move upon us, faith, and not feeling, will reign.
We have so many misconceptions about the bible, God and religion that I felt the need to share some of my experiences so that some measure of truth will leak it’s way into this world we share. The truth, for those who truly want it, will make you free.
Today I was reminded of why the Bible tells us to trust in Christ alone.
She is proud, nice and courageous to show love.
