The best way of treating our women was institutionalized by Islam and the position of women in Islam is unprecedented and humanity has not and cannot find such treatment any where in the whole universe save in the religion of Islam.

While it would be good to develop a message on this whole verse, I would like to take the last part to address the need of some sincere Christians that often get tripped up by sin.

Jesus taught us in the Lord’s Prayer to forgive others (have mercy on others) if we are to obtain forgiveness. This is the only criteria for receiving favour. Our text speaks of mercy and truth as vital virtues we must imbibe, keep as a precious jewel and apply them always in relationship with others.

Your Spiritual diet, believe it or not is more important than your physical food diet. Spiritual diet can determine where you spend eternity, physical diet very important also, not down-playing the importance of being healthy, but it determines your health in this life.

The Book of Ephesians teaches us about GOD’S grace, mercy and love that He has toward us. It teaches us about our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ since we’ve put our faith in Him. This book gives instruction to all born again believers in Jesus Christ as how our new life should be one of pure and honest living both in the church and in our homes.

Looking at the whole of Holy Scripture and considering the scriptural meaning of repentance we see that it is not just a one time act but an ongoing process for the true disciple. We also see, as in the case of Hebrews 12, there are a number of factors to aid our repentance.
