Amish and Mennonites, or "Plain People" as Amish call themselves are a very private group. They dress simply and reject worldly trapping. They have small differences in lifestyles and religious practices. Each has it’s own customs and quirks but they live side by side, intermarry and share relatives. They believe in separation of church and state, and they are against political oaths and going to war.
