Are the enemies surrounding and armed to devour you? Are there threats against your life, your spouse, your job, your studies, etc? Are you receiving threats from kidnappers or assassins? Fear not and do not fret about it.

The countenance of God is the source of our peace, safety and salvation. Self awareness of our stand with God matters so much if we must live well and make heaven at last.

Nothing endears God to us more than our plea to Him for our salvation. Do you always ask God for salvation of your soul and that of your family?

Have you ever sang a new song unto the Lord for that favour, mercy, love and compassion He has shown you? If you have not received any, God will remember you this season so you will sing unto the Lord in Jesus name.

Being conscious of the fact that the eyes and ears of God are everywhere we find ourselves should help us to be mindful of what we do or say as Christians whether in the secret or in open.

Confidence makes us face daunting challenges. David had confidence that God who saved him from lion and bear will also save him from Goliath. Do you have such confidence when faced with challenges?

This reflection shows the value of trust and the benefits of that trust.

It is I, Do not be Afraid. These were the astounding words of cheer from Jesus Christ. They did not recognize Jesus in the darkness. They had never seen him or any one walk on the water. His voice reassured them.

Beloved be patient with God because that problem may have been predestined to glorify His name. The Psalmist confirms that God hears and deliver those who call upon Him (Psalm 34: six & 7).

David gave Solomon his son this counsel in our text. It is the best counsel a father can give to his son. What counsel do you give your children?
