Often when I go to the church and kneel before Christ’s statue, or in a pew before Him, He will walk into me as I pray. I see Him walk into me, as if from another realm, very transparent and full of Light.
I am a traditional, pre-Vatican II Roman Catholic. Two close friends of mine from law school are members of the Church of Christ. We have been having a very interesting dialogue and this is why I have written this article on it.

In the Bible, Jesus instituted two sacraments. The first was baptism. This was performed once as a sign of the beginning of life as a Christian. The second was the Lord’s Supper. This was performed repeatedly as a sign of continuing fellowship with Christ. Through baptism, believers confess their unity with Christ in His death and resurrection, and that union continues through the Lord’s Supper, which foreshadows the banquet at the second coming.
It is important to have essential items but they are not to be considered important in order to offer love and hope for a non-believer.
