What motivates you to do good things? Is your answer your religion?

This is about the day Jesus was born.
This article is talking about the way sin has been accepted in the society.

Or was he murdered for them?
While John 3:16 might be the best known verse of the Holy Bible, Matthew 7:1, which is “Judge not, that ye be not judged,” is probably next to it. After being a Christian for over 39 years, I have come to the conclusion it is the most used and most abused verse in the Holy Bible for a number of reasons.
Most times we pray to God not knowing if and when He would answer to our supplications.
Our God is the God who knew us, acting like us, but with no sin, thinks more than us, and does the impossible for us.
With the exception of questions three and 4, can these be answered without using a quote or verse from the Bible?
