I have received many comments and questions about people who commit big sins like mass murder or rape. People do not think this is fair of God to accept people who commit these sins, even if they repent later. This is a story from the Old Testament about the worst chapter of King David’s life – when he committed some very big sins.
It seems that everyone is possessed with the idea that the more wealth they have, the happier they will be. Even though we can look at many of the "rich and famous" – nothing that their lifestyles have certainly not led them to happiness – our illusions about wealth continues.
Man should learn to humbly accept God’s will for his life and pursue it vigorously. Desire to seek personal heart desire outside God’s planned purpose is part of the seed of disobedience that Satan sowed in the Garden of Eden when he taught man to get and live by his own wisdom rather than obey God’s will in his lifetime.
Not all beliefs bless the believer. It is useful to review beliefs at intervals and uphold those that are of benefit only. Bible case studies have been used to drive home this point in diverse ways.
Our main purpose in life is to obey God and keep His commandments. Every decision we make in this life should always include that purpose.
