We continue our studies of the Desert Fathers (The Book of Mystical Chapters; Shambhala; trans. John Anthony McGuckin.). Chris said she had experienced some supernatural fragrances at her home since our last class. Last week I was aware of a new fragrance as we meditated before class, and also during class; this week Chris said she was aware of the distinct fragrance of hyacinth. These mysterious Gifts from the Desert Fathers continue. The first poem we studied this week was written by the Desert Father, Makarios The Great.

My view on religion.
Such a massive gesture for one to take, as most of us refuse to accept the fact that the reason why we are badly hurt and bitter is because we blame ourselves for making mistakes and take in all the rejection we experience for such failure.Which is absolutely WRONG!!!! We are humans and we are subject to commit mistakes.
Short discussion on the who we really are in our walks as Christians. Are we really who we say we are? and do we show that in our actions.
We live in a world where constant efforts to improve things make it easy to discard ideas, objects, or practices on the assumption that the new way will always be better.
Mr. REPuckett says that a Christian can’t answer these questions and Karen Gross has taken her shot at it. Now here is my response to these questions.
Golden Temple which is also as Sri Darbar Sahib or Sri Harmandir Sahib. It is symbol of peace, true religion, humanity and prosperity. In 1601 A.D the construction work of Harmandir Sahib was completed and in 16 August 1604 first volume of Guru Granth Sahib ji was placed in Darbar Sahib.
