A brief description of Christmas;
My life story of religion and faith.
It just depends on how you use it.
Each of us may belong to one religion, but do we really know everything about the group we belong to? This experience of mine may make you realize that we somehow lack knowledge about our religion.
Our God is the God who knew us, acting like us, but with no sin, thinks more than us, and does the impossible for us.
Pertaining to no one certain religion, this is story that parents can read to their children, which leaves out the “hell and damnation”.
We did know about love but let’s understand why love is wicked.
Christ was probably not born in December, and we all know that Christmas is tied to older religions as well as the nativity story. Many cultures celebrate the Winter Solstice and the return of the light. Does this time of the year have spiritual meaning even for those of us who are not Christians? Is story an important part of this?
While often thought of as a “Children’s Story”, this is far from it. Loaded with contradictions to what we have been told about God, this story raises some interesting questions.
A Small Touching Story.
