The Bible justifies avarice and wealth, and the “prosperity gospels”? I think some of our televangelists have some reading to do.

Although the Christian religion has too many TV evangelistic wolves in sheeps’ clothing and the church desperately requires a flea dip instead of lamb chops on table, it is never truly good news when a wolf is exposed. It never is about one man, it becomes a scathing indictment against an entire religion; Satan gloats and giggles with delight. Christians routinely hide behind a mask of perfection, and that’s much more than just the sin of pride.
