Sandi Patty is undeniably one of the great Christian vocalists of all time. In her personal life, however, even she struggled with sin. This song describes the loneliness of that low place – and the recognition of where help lies.

How often we get things backwards in our lives. Why is this? Here’s my simplified take on the answer.

There is a difference between those who call themselves "Christian", yet act otherwise, and those who are true Christians. You will know the difference by their actions, countenance, their concern and caring, their strength and their character. A true Christian must be taught and disciplined in the ways of the highest power that has ever existed. God.

God doesn’t call us to be virgins, he calls us to be PURE. It isn’t about not crossing the line of having sex, it’s about your mind and your heart in the struggle to put God first in the midst of your fleshy desires.

Adam and Eve were to replenished the earth, this would not necessarily mean to have more children, but to take on additional responsibility.

The devil always uses our weak place to tempt us with a view to forcing us to succumb to his temptation. The devil is wise but his wisdom is corrupted and as a result what he knows about you he uses to corrupt you and to destroy you.

Matthew 26: 41 says:
“Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak

This is an original interpretation and dissection of a beautiful verse addressing “temptation to sin” from the Gospel of Matthew. In this essay, you will be able to see how God intends for us to utilize prayer as the means through which we are made able to triumph over sin.
