The book of Acts reports of the events following the death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. In the gospels, Jesus is preaching, while in the book of Acts He is being preached. It is in the Acts that we witness the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the manifestation of the power that came with it.
