This page explains, in plain English, what data RELI Journal collects, why, and what your rights are. If anything is unclear, write me through the contact form.
Who runs this site
RELI Journal is an independent publication run by John. The site shares honest reviews of side hustles, passive income, crypto, ecommerce, freelance, sport betting, and digital products. There is no parent company and no investor behind the editorial line.
What data is collected
- Contact form, when you write in I store your name, email, topic and message so I can reply. Nothing else.
- Server logs, the web server records IP address, user agent and the page requested for each visit. This is standard and used to spot abuse.
- Analytics, a privacy friendly analytics tool counts page views without setting personal cookies and without tracking you across other sites.
Why this data is collected
- To answer your messages.
- To keep the site online and block abuse.
- To understand which articles are useful, so I can write more of what helps and less of what does not.
How long it is kept
- Contact messages, twelve months, then deleted.
- Server logs, thirty days, then rotated out.
- Analytics, aggregate counts only, retained for two years.
Who else sees it
Nobody. Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers. The only third parties involved are the hosting provider, which sees server logs by nature of running the server, and the analytics tool, which only sees aggregate page counts.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination merchant may set its own cookies on its own domain. RELI Journal does not receive any personal data about that visit, only an aggregate commission notice if you later buy something.
Your rights
- Access, ask what data I hold on you.
- Correction, ask me to fix any wrong information.
- Deletion, ask me to erase everything I hold on you.
- Portability, ask for a copy of your messages in a readable format.
To use any of these rights, send a message through the contact form with the relevant keyword in the subject. I reply within seven days.
Cookies
The site sets a small technical cookie only if needed for a form submission. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and no cross site identifiers.
Changes to this policy
If anything material changes, the new policy is published on this page with the updated date. Substantial changes are flagged on the home page for at least one week.

Do you sell my email?
No. I never sell, rent, or share your email with third parties. Your message stays between us.
How long do you keep my data?
Contact messages are kept for twelve months, then deleted. Server logs are kept for thirty days.
Can I ask for my data to be deleted?
Yes. Send a request through the contact form with the subject DELETE and I will erase everything within seven days.
Do you use tracking cookies?
Only a privacy friendly analytics tool that does not set personal cookies and does not track you across sites.
